Friday, 18 November, 2011

Local Youth have a new way to get political

As the number of younger members of the conservative party has grown in recent times the local association for North West Norfolk has set up its own group for them, known nationally as “Conservative Future” (Britain’s largest political youth organisation) locally to be known as the Club 1927.

The club is designed for those who are interested in politics and want to get more involved or just support the Conservative Party, who nineteen to thirty and also want to have a social life.

The aims of the club are to provide support to the conservative party locally and to provide a politically flavoured social club for North West Norfolk. We will be holding the first main meeting before the Christmas holidays.

The Club chairman, Thomas Smith said “There’s a strong Conservative presence in Norfolk, and we thought it was time people could have more to do with the conservative party than voting for us at elections”. www.nwnorfolkconservatives.com/club1927.
